The trees seem infinitely tall, the wind is ceaseless and causing you to lose track of yourself. The sun dips below the horizon and the creatures come out to dance...

43: Combat is Overrated

What is a video game? Something of a simulated zone, that within facilitates play? NO, back you heathen academics... It's there so you can fight. BRAWL in glorious combat... Or is combat even so glorious. Why are we always shooting... I beg of you, dear reader... why. Why must we have controllers that have TRIGGERS on them, much like a gun may, in order to best simulate the experience of squeezing that trigger. 
So get that load-out ready, strap on your combat boots and pack, steel yourself... for the fight of your life. This weeks episode is all about combat, and how it might be overrated? Or maybe not!?

39: Should Video Games be Edited?

The Game Awards huh! How about those. Well, also, how about the editing of media? Specifically, how video games are edited? WELL, let me tell you! Sometimes, not everything makes it into the final product. Sometimes, the cutting room floor is filled with the sorrowful hours of employees past. Sometimes, there's more on that hallowed floor than in the final product! And sometimes, the director likes to scoop some of that detritus up and glue it back onto the final product... we call that a Frankenstein monster. We don't, I just made that up.
