59: Innovation vs. Reiteration

This is probably my favorite episode we've done so far (this is Joe writing this, that's right, I write these things, I am SORRY)... 

There's some huge conversation to be had about what original ideas truly mean for video games, how rehashing is done within the medium, the inherite difference between games that are deemed as original and even stand in their own genre ala souls-like, or strand-type games (you heard me).
