Ah the marketplace. Where Papa would go to fetch us two quarters worth of a penny-farthing for supper... These were the grand old times of yore. Of course we all know and love STEAM, and THE EPIC STORE, but where did some of that stuff kick off? From which boot did it find its straps from which to pull itself up from... And how on earth did we end up in this post capitalist hell scape?! Well, this week Joe regals us with a brief history of Steam, and the XBox Live Marketplace, and couple tidbits about the Wii Shopping channel.
